The kids are at that age that they get a kick out of doing some of the things they know they're too old to do. Like coloring Easter eggs. No hiding them, but coloring was fun. (lady bug sticker was mine, obviously.)
From an Easter card my sister sent to me: How can you tell the difference between a boy chocolate bunny and a girl chocolate bunny? When you bite the ears off a boy bunny, his head will be hollow.
Big Easter breakfast, followed by church, followed by a long, really great hike at Castlewood today.
The view from the bluffs is beautiful. I was hoping to see a train while I was up there, but...
... I got to see a train once I'd gotten to the bottom instead.

As much as I love being outdoors, I shouldn't be creeped out by too much of what the woods has to offer at this point. But today an enormous, nasty blacksnake slithered across the path in front of me.
My scream scared the snake, myself and the people several yards in front of me.
The last time I went to Castlewood, nothing was in bloom. Today, lucky for me, everything was.
