Tell Me a Story


An AP photo* of a little boy and his cow (Treat) at a Pennsylvania farm show. This is everything I love about photography. An entire story can be communicated in one frame. This one says "love" without saying a word. And it doesn't even matter how the story ends. For this one little moment, this little boy loves his cow -- and the cow loves her boy. And it reminded this cranky girl to exhale and smile.

    What do you mean it doesn't matter how the story ends? It probably ends with Treat at the Slaughterhouse - Poor thing! Now who's being cranky? :) Love the photo. That is definitely a loved cow.

    Yah, that's what I was afraid of. :( But at least with photos, ignorance is bliss...
